Marion Pritchard
November 7, 1920 – December 11, 2016
Dutch social worker and psychoanalyst who distinguished herself as a savior of Jews in the Netherlands during the second world war. She helped save some 150 Dutch Jews - mostly children. She was imprisoned by the Nazis when she was 20 years old, collaborated with the Dutch resistance and shot dead a known Dutch informer to save Jewish children she was hiding in her home. After the war she met and married an American soldier and moved to the U.S.
